Neurologic Physical Therapy Residency

Established in 2011, the HonorHealth/Northern Arizona University Residency in Neurologic Physical Therapy was the first accredited neurological residency program in Arizona through the American Board of Physical Therapy Residency & Fellowship Education.

The Neurological Residency Program was reaccredited in 2019 through January 2029.

The program is a 12-month, full-time program with emphasis on graduating advanced-level specialists in clinical practice and education. The goal is to prepare clinicians to make a lasting contribution to their local and professional community.

Testimonial

“Completing the HonorHealth & NAU Neurologic Residency was one of the best decisions I’ve made! The process was challenging, but delving in deeper into neuro anatomy, pathophysiology, clinical reasoning skills and critical thinking/analysis of the patients I was treating accelerated the learning curve from being a novice clinician to a leader in the clinic and advancing the field of neurologic physical therapy. I feel more confident in delivering high-quality patient-centered care and with the residency preparing me for the NCS I was able to sit for my specialty quickly out of school and passed! I highly recommend the HonorHealth & NAU Neurologic Residency!”
