Breathing & Relaxation Techniques for Childbirth Online-Live Virtual Class

The Breathing and Relaxation Techniques for Childbirth Live Virtual Class is a two hour class designed to provide you and your partner with various comfort, relaxation, and breathing methods to help you manage your labor and delivery.
*This 2-hour session is designed to complement the Preparing for Childbirth Series, Parts 1 and 2. If you intend on taking both the Preparing for Childbirth Series as well as the Breathing and Relaxation class, it is strongly advised to attend the Preparing for Childbirth Series, Parts 1 and 2 BEFORE attending the Breathing and Relaxation Class. Hospital protocols for entrances, admission, and COVID guidelines will not be covered in the Breathing and Relaxation class, as they are covered in our Preparing for Childbirth Series.
Topics for the Breathing & Relaxation class will include:
- Comfort tools to use before and during your hospital stay
- The importance of changing positions in labor and birth
- Exploring massage options / suggestions that may assist the laboring woman
- Breathing and relaxation exercises to help you work through your labor
- Positions for pushing and delivery
*Please Note: The instructor will be using a physio/labor ball to provide demonstrations during portions of the class. You may choose to use a physio/labor ball of your own at home while attending class, but this is NOT mandatory. It will not be possible for the instructor to see you and advise you on your technique during class.
