Preparing for Cesarean Section at Shea

Designed for expectant parents that are anticipating a scheduled cesarean section or for those interested in more detailed information regarding cesarean delivery. This class will provide step by step information on the process of cesarean delivery. Class topics will include reasons for cesarean section, expectations and necessary procedures before, during and after surgery. Some time will be spent discussing expectations of the recovery period.
Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE & due at time of registration via phone or on-line. This class is recommended to take 8 weeks prior the due date, but can be taken anytime during the pregnancy.
Curriculum is intended for adult audience, no children in prenatal classes please.
Please arrive 15 minutes early. You are welcome to bring a snack and water to class.
The event will be held at the Brady Conference Center at Shea Medical Center. The conference center is located in the main hospital building on the ground floor. The south/valet parking entrance is the closest entrance to the conference center.
