These support groups help foster your emotional well-being and are held in the Brady Conference Center at Shea Medical Center unless otherwise noted.

Child Loss Support Group

Facilitated by a licensed psychologist, this group is for parents who have experienced the loss of a child through an illness, accident or natural causes. The group meets in the first floor conference room at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center on the Shea Medical Center campus.

The Heart of a Woman

This group provides an educational forum for women with heart disease or its risk factors, including blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.

Osteoporosis Educational Forum

This free educational forum is for women with low bone density, osteopenia or osteoporosis. Get helpful information on topics such as nutrition, exercise and medications.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Depression Support Group

Facilitated by a licensed psychologist, this group is for moms experiencing depression or anxiety during pregnancy or after childbirth. The group meets in the first floor conference room at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center on the Shea Medical Center campus.

Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group

This group is for those who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy through miscarriage, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy and neonatal death. Educational topics will be presented and discussed monthly. The group is facilitated by a licensed psychologist and meets in the first floor conference room at the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center on the Shea Medical Center campus.
