Infant CPR at Shea

This informative class covers CPR and foreign-body airway obstruction for infants (birth-1 year of age). Class content will include the necessary skills of CPR, choking hazards, signs of choking and rescue techniques. Class is taught by a certified American Heart Association CPR instructor and will include a significant amount of hands-on skills and participation. A course completion card will NOT be issued for this class. Expectant grandparents and other care providers may also benefit from and enjoy this class.
Fee is per couple, NON-REFUNDABLE and due at time of registration via phone or on-line.
Curriculum is intended for adult audience, no children in prenatal classes please. This class is recommended to take 4 weeks prior the due date, but can be taken anytime during the pregnancy.
Please arrive 15 minutes early to class. You are welcome to bring a snack and water to class.
The class will be held at the Brady Conference Center at Shea Medical Center. The Conference Center is located in the main hospital building on the ground floor. The south/valet parking entrance is the closest entrance to the conference center.
