Preparing for Childbirth

This 3 part class series helps expectant parents learn about the physical & emotional experiences that come with the miracle of birth. Topics to be covered include signs & stages of labor, hospital procedures, potential medical interventions, cesarean birth, physical recovery, partner's supportive role in labor & comfort measures. Time will be spent discussing and practicing relaxation & breathing techniques that may be helpful for labor & delivery in the 3rd class. While this class may be taken any time during pregnancy, it is suggested to take during the 3rd trimester.
Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE & due at time of registration via phone or on-line.

Please arrive 15 minutes early, parking may be challenging. Bring two pillows & blanket to the third class.
The class will be held at the Brady Conference Center at Shea Medical Center. The conference center is located in the main hospital building on the ground floor. The south/valet parking entrance is the closest entrance to the conference center. Valet parking is available Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
The classes will meet once a week for three weeks. The first day is 2/27/2018, the second day is 3/6/2018 and the last night is 3/13/2018.
