A Medical Staff built around you

At HonorHealth, our Medical Staff is physician-led, advanced practice provider (APP)-inclusive and built on the belief that the people delivering care should have a real voice in shaping it. Whether you’re joining as a physician, APP or allied health professional, you’re entering a community designed to support your growth, practice and patients.

Led by those closest to care

We operate under a unified Medical Staff model that promotes consistency in quality, safety and clinical standards across the health system.

  • Each campus maintains local leadership committees that address campus-specific needs, alongside system-wide committees that guide broader clinical strategy and patient safety.
  • APPs are fully integrated into our framework, participating in committees, leadership discussions and clinical operations across our network.
  • Our governance model is designed so that the people closest to patient care help shape how that care is delivered.

We meet you where you practice

We know physicians and APPs practice in many different ways. Our Medical Staff categories are built to support a variety of practice models and levels of clinical involvement, so your privileges fit the way you work.

  • Active staff: For those maintaining an ongoing clinical presence within HonorHealth with eligibility for voting and leadership opportunities.
  • Affiliate and courtesy staff: Flexible pathways for those who maintain privileges while practicing primarily in community or external settings.
  • Telemedicine staff: A dedicated pathway for clinicians providing care exclusively through virtual platforms.

Your career has room to grow here

HonorHealth encourages clinicians to take an active role in shaping the future of care delivery — not just within their department, but across our system.

  • Participate in Medical Staff committees focused on quality, safety and clinical operations.
  • Pursue leadership opportunities within departments, specialty sections and Medical Staff governance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to help improve patient outcomes and clinical workflows.

A culture of fair, collegial accountability

Our peer review and quality processes are built on Just Culture principles: fair, clinician-led and focused on continuous improvement rather than blame. When performance questions arise, we work collaboratively with transparency, due process and a genuine commitment to supporting our clinicians through challenges.
