Q: Why has the opening date changed, and when will you open?
A: We appreciate your patience as we continue to put the final touches on our state-of-the-art fitness center. Our construction timeline has shifted, and we have updated our opening timeline to ensure that HonorHealth Medical Fitness is ready to deliver the exceptional quality, safety and member experience you deserve. We'll share an official opening date as soon as we have firm information.
Q: How will I be notified when there's an update?
A: We'll email pre-registered members and those who have expressed interest in HonorHealth Medical Fitness as soon as we have news — including any changes to our opening date, tours or membership. You can also check this website for the latest status.
Q: Will you be offering tours?
A: Yes, tours are available by appointment.

Please note: Due to limited elevator availability, tour participants must be able to use the stairs. Not all areas may be accessible during tours.
Q: When is the Open House event for members?
A: The date for our Open House has not been set yet. Members will receive an email invitation with the event date, time and details as soon as plans are finalized.

Q: Can I join online?
A: Yes! If you’re ready to secure your spot, you can use our online portal to complete your membership.
Q: Do I need a promo code to join online?
A: No promo code is needed. The $0 enrollment fee special will be automatically applied during our presale period.
Q: Do HonorHealth employees receive a discount?
A: Yes, HonorHealth team members will have their enrollment fee waived at signup.
Q: Do I need a doctor’s referral to join?
A: No. A doctor's referral isn't needed to join.
HonorHealth Medical Fitness is open to everyone. Whether you’re managing a health condition or simply looking to invest in your long-term wellness, our doors are open to all.
Q: Do I need to be an existing HonorHealth patient to join?
A: No. You do not need to be an existing HonorHealth patient to become a member.
We welcome anyone looking to take charge of their health and well-being.
Q: Does insurance cover this service?
A: No, HonorHealth Medical Fitness memberships are not covered by insurance.
However, you may be able to use your HSA or FSA funds to cover your monthly membership fees if you have a physician referral (see below for details).
Q: Can I use my FSA/HSA funds?
A: A Medical Fitness membership may be eligible for HSA/FSA reimbursement; however, the decision rests with your plan administrator. You can use your referral form from your provider (paper or digital) to show qualified medical necessity.
Q: Is HonorHealth Medical Fitness part of SilverSneakers®?
A: No, HonorHealth Medical Fitness is not part of the SilverSneakers® gym program for seniors.
Q: Is there a military or senior discount?
A: No, we are not able to offer military or senior discounts at this time. We appreciate your service and understanding.
Q: What types of classes will you have available?
A: We will offer a wide variety of group fitness classes to support every fitness level and wellness goal, including: Muscle, HIIT, Cardio, Mat Pilates, Tai Chi, Yoga (Flow, Gentle, Yin, Restorative, All Levels, and Chair), Meditation, Barre, Core and Stability, Stretching, and Indoor Cycle.
Q: What are premium classes?
A: Premium classes are specialty offerings beyond our standard group fitness classes — think reformer Pilates, high-energy dance fitness and barbell group training. These will be made available as we grow after opening.

Q: What is the freeze policy?
A: Members may freeze their membership for a minimum of one month, up to a maximum of six months, no more than once every 12 months. A freeze fee of $15/month applies during the freeze period.
- Freeze requests received on or before the 1st of the month take effect at the end of that month; requests received after the 7th take effect at the end of the following month.
To request a freeze, notify the center in person or email medicalfitness@honorhealth.com.
- Military exception: Members called to active duty may freeze their membership for up to 24 months at no charge with a copy of military orders.
- Medical exception: Members with a documented medical condition may apply for a medical suspension for up to six months at no charge with a note from a licensed physician.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: Members may cancel at any time by providing 45 days written notice before the next billing date (monthly) or the end of the membership year (annual). No cancellation fee applies. Membership remains active through the end of the final paid billing cycle.
To cancel, you may:
- Mail a signed, dated written notice to 8435 N. Pima Center Pkwy., Suite 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85258;
- Email medicalfitness@honorhealth.com; or
- Deliver written notice in person to the Center.
You may cancel for a full refund within 3 business days of signing your agreement.
Q: What happens if I miss a payment?
A: Payments more than nine days late incur a $10 late fee. Returned payments (insufficient funds, etc.) incur a $25 service fee. If payments are missed for 3 consecutive months, the membership will be automatically cancelled.
Q: Can minors join?
A: Children ages 12–17 may join with a parent or guardian’s written approval and must be accompanied by that parent or guardian when using the facility.
