This class is held in the 1st floor conference room of the Ambulatory Services Building at the Sonoran Crossing Medical Center.
PLEASE NOTE: Class fee is for expecting mom and partner/support person. If you are bringing a partner/support person, you must register them under "guest".
This newborn care class will provide expectant parents with a preview of life with a newborn. Class content will focus primarily on the information, tools and skills needed to navigate through baby's newborn period (first 28 days of life). This class will introduce expectant parents to the joys and potential challenges of early parenting with hands-on activities regarding the basics of baby care. Class topics and activities will include feeding basics, diapering, bathing, normal newborn sleep cycles, and calming your new baby. Expectant grandparents and other care providers may also benefit from and enjoy this class.
