Services offered
If you’ve had a heart-related hospitalization, your doctor may write you an order for cardiac rehabilitation. Participating in cardiac rehab is recommended if you have had:
- A heart attack.
- Angioplasty/stents.
- Coronary artery bypass grafts.
- Valve surgery.
- Heart failure.
Your cardiovascular health will improve with individualized cardiac rehab services provided by a team of specialists that can include doctors, nurses, exercise physiologists, dietitians and social workers.
Cardiac rehab is offered in phases, depending on your specific heart issue. You’ll enjoy:
- Clinically monitored exercise to help you regain your stamina and emotional health, and reduce your risk of future heart issues.
- Nutritional counseling about heart-healthy food.
- Social support.
- Ways to reduce your stress and anxiety.
