Abhineet Chowdhary, MD

Abhineet Chowdhary, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurological surgeon specializing in brain and spine surgery with expertise in cerebrovascular and endovascular neurosurgery. His clinical interests include brain surgery as well as cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine surgery.

Dr. Chowdhary provides a range of surgical and endovascular treatments, including aneurysm coiling and stenting, carotid stenting, craniotomy, spinal cord surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, disc replacement, SI joint fusion, spinal fusion and kyphoplasty. He also offers neurological testing.

Dr. Chowdhary believes his role is to help patients understand the treatment options available to them and guide them in choosing the approach that best fits their individual needs and lifestyle. His goal with surgery is to help patients improve their function and return to a quality of life that allows them to do more of the things that bring them joy.

Originally from Columbia, Missouri, Dr. Chowdhary enjoys traveling, scuba diving and exploring new places. He speaks Hindi and Punjabi in addition to English.
