Divya Nimmatoori, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician passionate about comprehensive adult healthcare. She focuses on preventive care, early intervention in chronic conditions like diabetes and behavioral disorders, and the management of complex health issues. Dr. Nimmatoori is also dedicated to optimizing care for chronic conditions and ensuring thoughtful medication management, including deprescribing when appropriate, while guiding patients through important health decisions.
Dr. Nimmatoori is skilled in treating a wide range of conditions, including hypertension, diabetes, anxiety, depression and thyroid disorders. She also addresses common issues like anemia, abdominal pain, fevers, headaches and skin conditions. Her procedural expertise includes Pap smears, joint injections and skin tag removal.
Rooted in a patient-centered approach, Dr. Nimmatoori emphasizes active listening and empathetic communication. Originally from Hyderabad, India, and raised in Portland, Oregon, Dr. Nimmatoori considers both to be her hometowns. Outside of medicine, she enjoys singing, Bollywood dancing and cooking vegetarian meals. Proud to be the 21st doctor in her family, Dr. Nimmatoori once sang with a doctors’ band, “Medi-Melody,” and even had the opportunity to perform in an Indian movie. She cherishes time with her daughter and husband, and her warm, family-oriented approach carries into her medical practice.
