Dr. Shad's philosophy of care is holistic and custom tailored to each patient, not just their medical history or medication list. He believes that each person should be treated like a whole person with complex needs in all areas of life including mind, body and spirit.
With an emphasis on wellness, prevention, integrative medicine and the use of food as medicine, Dr. Shad's focus areas include the treatment and evaluation of patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, metabolic syndrome and disorders, and heart disease and related risk factors. He optimizes for health, performance and longevity. When appropriate, evidence based use of supplements can be used in treatment plans.
