About
Fuad Habash, MD, is a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias and cardiovascular disease. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Jordan before relocating to the United States, where he completed an internal medicine residency and cardiovascular disease fellowship at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, followed by advanced fellowship training in clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Baylor University Medical Center. He is also board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology and has been in practice since 2023.
Dr. Habash offers a full range of ablation procedures and device implants, with particular clinical interest in complex ablation of atrial arrhythmias, PVCs and VT. His training has provided extensive experience in invasive electrophysiology procedures, device implantation and management, and advanced cardiovascular imaging. He also specializes in conduction system pacing to help patients achieve more physiologic, longer-lasting device therapy.
Dr. Habash takes a comprehensive approach to treating patients with cardiac arrhythmias, including those at high risk. Rather than relying on long-term antiarrhythmic medications, he favors ablation as a durable, targeted solution for restoring normal heart rhythm and improving quality of life. He has also maintained a strong interest in education and academic medicine throughout his career, authoring multiple peer-reviewed publications and educational resources and participating in physician training, mentorship and curriculum development.
Originally from Amman, Jordan, Dr. Habash brings a well-rounded perspective to his practice. He plays guitar and piano and still enjoys video games. He also stays active by roller skating and playing lacrosse with his two daughters. He is interested in technology and DIY home upgrades. In addition to English, he speaks Arabic natively, Spanish with a high level of proficiency and some basic French.
