George Liow, DO, is a family medicine physician with expertise in lifestyle medicine, integrative medicine and preventive care. With a focus on prevention, patient education, and empowerment, his clinical interests include holistic and integrative medicine, chronic disease management (including diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia) and mental health care.  

He offers a wide range of in-office procedures, including motivational interviewing, excisional, punch and shave biopsies, Nexplanon insertion and removal, knee and shoulder injections, ingrown toenail removal and cryotherapy.  

Dr. Liow's approach to care centers on preventing problems before they arise. He values shared decision-making and works with patients to understand how lifestyle and dietary choices impact long-term health. His holistic philosophy integrates medication management with other interventions to support patients on their journey to good health. 

Originally from the Bay Area of California, Dr. Liow maintains a creative and active lifestyle outside of medicine. He enjoys playing guitar and ukulele, chess, boxing and running.
