About
Khai Ling Tan, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist practicing at HonorHealth Gynecology - Pima Center. Her practice focuses on comprehensive gynecologic care throughout adulthood, including preventive care, abnormal bleeding, contraception, menopause management and gynecologic surgery.
Dr. Tan brings an international perspective to her work. She was born in Malaysia, completed high school in Australia and earned her medical degree from the University of Calgary in Canada. She completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin and subsequently practiced in Milwaukee, where she cared for patients and helped train residents from two local OB-GYN residency programs.
After moving to Scottsdale in 2012, Dr. Tan joined HonorHealth and became actively involved in Medical Staff leadership. She previously served as chair of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center and currently serves as chief of staff. She is also an assistant professor of clinical practice at the ASU John Shufeldt School of Medicine and Medical Engineering.
Dr. Tan believes exceptional care begins with a strong and trusting physician-patient relationship. She combines evidence-based medicine with thoughtful, individualized attention and works collaboratively with each patient to develop a plan that reflects the patient’s health needs, priorities and stage of life.
