Lucas Stowers, MD

Luke Stowers, MD, is a board-certified sports medicine physician with specialized expertise in non-surgical musculoskeletal care. He completed his family medicine residency at St. Anthony North followed by a sports medicine fellowship at the University of Notre Dame. Dr. Stowers brings specialized experience in sports medicine and regenerative therapies, focusing on restoring function for active individuals.

Dr. Stowers provides comprehensive care in the treatment of various joints, including shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, hips, knees, ankles and feet. He offers specialized treatments including ultrasound-guided procedures and injections, regenerative medicine and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. His clinical expertise encompasses percutaneous tenotomies to address chronic tendon issues using minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Stowers' approach to sports medicine care centers on teaching and empowering patients by providing multiple treatment options for their conditions. Originally from Tallahassee, Florida, Dr. Stowers maintains an active lifestyle in Arizona with his wife, who is also an HonorHealth family physician, and their two young boys. A former college track athlete, he enjoys running, hiking, camping, skiing and tennis. He brings a well-rounded perspective to his medical practice, understanding firsthand the dedication required to maintain peak physical health.
