Maaz Iqbal, MD

Maaz Iqbal, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist and pain management physician specializing in interventional pain management with a focus on neuromodulation and functional pain management. He offers specialized treatments including spinal cord stimulation, kyphoplasty, radiofrequency ablation and platelet-rich plasma therapy, as well as standard spine and joint injections. 

Dr. Iqbal takes an individualized approach to patient care, evaluating and treating every patient on a case-by-case basis to provide the best multimodal plan for managing chronic pain. His goal is not only to reduce discomfort but to help patients reclaim the small joys in life that may have become elusive due to chronic pain. He makes a conscious effort to provide time, empathy and the best possible experience while addressing each patient’s needs. 

Originally from Chandler, AZ, Dr. Iqbal is married with three children. He enjoys golfing (a newer hobby he picked up in the past two years), playing basketball, pickleball and tennis. He also loves hands-on projects, including DIY work at home and working on cars.
