Rebecca Chester, MD, is an interventional cardiologist who is board certified in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology. She completed her medical education at Tulane University School of Medicine, followed by an internal medicine residency at UCLA and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. She then returned to UCLA for fellowship training in interventional cardiology, with a focus on complex percutaneous coronary intervention.

Dr. Chester’s areas of special interest include coronary angiography and stenting, risk stratification and recovery following acute myocardial infarction, heart failure diagnosis and management and women’s cardiovascular health. She is the director of the HonorHealth Cardiogenic Shock Initiative, which focuses on the rapid identification and management of patients experiencing cardiogenic shock.
