We know you may have questions about the collaboration between CVC, Atria Heart and HonorHealth. Here’s what you need to know:

 

Q: What is happening with CVC?

A: Cardiovascular Consultants, Ltd. (CVC) is collaborating with Atria Heart and HonorHealth to bring you enhanced cardiovascular care while maintaining the personalized service you know and trust. This collaboration combines CVC's trusted providers with Atria Heart's cardiovascular expertise and HonorHealth's comprehensive healthcare network.

Q: When did this collaboration begin?

A: The collaboration began on Monday, Dec. 8.

Q: Will my providers and care team stay the same?

A: Yes, your providers and care team are staying in the same locations and will continue to provide the expert care you've come to rely on.

Q: Will the hours at these locations change?

A: No. The hours will remain the same.

Q: Will the impacted locations remain open?

A: Yes, all four locations will remain open and continue serving patients:

  • Deer Valley: 19646 N. 27th Ave., Suite 408, Phoenix, AZ 85027
  • Osborn: 3501 N. Scottsdale Road, Suite 348, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
  • Shea: 10210 N. 92nd St., Suite 301, Scottsdale, AZ 85258
  • Thunderbird: 5422 W. Thunderbird Road, Suite 8, Glendale, AZ 85306

Q: Will the phone numbers for these locations change?

A: No. The phone and fax numbers will remain the same.

Services and care

 

Q: Are your services changing?

A: No. We will offer the same cardiovascular services as before. Additionally, through the HonorHealth collaboration, you will have enhanced access to specialists when you need additional care.

Q: How do I schedule an appointment?

A: You can schedule appointments the same way you always have by calling 602-867-8644.

Q: Do I need to re-establish care, or schedule a new patient appointment?

A: YNo. If you're an existing CVC patient, you remain an established patient. Simply schedule your next appointment as usual.

Q: What if I need emergency cardiac care?

A: In a cardiac emergency, always call 911. HonorHealth's Emergency Departments are equipped to handle cardiac emergencies and can coordinate with your care team.

Q: Will my medical records be transferred?

A: Yes, your medical records remain secure and accessible to your care team. There is no interruption to accessing your health information.

Q: Can I access my medical records online?

A: Yes, you can access your medical records and information via MyChart, HonorHealth’s patient portal, by visiting mychart.honorhealth.com.

Billing and insurance

 

Q: Will anything change with billing or insurance coverage?

A: Billing will come from Atria Heart in collaboration with HonorHealth rather than CVC. Insurance acceptance remains the same; however, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify coverage as the billing entity has changed.

Q: Who will I receive bills from?

A: You will receive bills from Atria Heart in collaboration with HonorHealth. If you have questions about your bill, call the billing number on your statement or your location for assistance.

Q: Will my co-pay or out-of-pocket costs change?

A: Your costs depend on your insurance plan's coverage for Atria Heart in collaboration with HonorHealth services. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify your specific coverage and any cost-sharing requirements.

Q: What if I have an outstanding balance with CVC?

A: Any existing balances will be handled according to your previous payment arrangements. Call the Billing Department at 602-867-8644 with questions about existing balances.
