Jaimei Zhang Wendt, MD, is a family medicine physician with expertise in full-spectrum care across outpatient, inpatient and obstetric settings.  

She provides care for patients of all backgrounds and throughout all stages of life, with clinical interests that include caring for underserved populations, pregnant patients, newborns and children, as well as reproductive and gynecologic health. She offers prenatal care for low- and high-risk pregnancies, IUD and Nexplanon placement, gynecologic procedures, skin biopsies, circumcisions and joint injections. She also provides medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders, hepatitis C treatment and gender-affirming care.  

Dr. Zhang Wendt's approach to care centers on building long-term relationships with patients and families. She takes a patient-centered approach that meets people where they are, partnering with each patient to support both immediate needs and long-term wellness. 

Originally from Gilbert, Arizona, Dr. Zhang Wendt enjoys running, hiking and cooking, and values spending quality time with friends and family.
