Integrative and Lifestyle Medicine
Better care begins with prevention.
We’re flipping the script on healthcare. No more one-size-fits-all.
No more treating symptoms without seeing the whole you.
At the HonorHealth Whole Health Institute, your care is personalized, proactive and rooted in evidence-based practices that help you thrive — not just survive.
From tackling chronic conditions head-on to boosting vitality, we help pave the road to being your best self.
Two approaches to better health
Integrative Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine blend clinical precision with everyday habits that heal.
Integrative Medicine
Feel your best with care that looks at the whole picture — your physical, mental and emotional health.
Integrative Medicine combines traditional medical care with evidence-based complementary therapies and personalized support. Depending on your needs and goals, your care may include nutrition counseling, personalized exercise plans, massage therapy, Tai Chi, group medical visits and mindfulness programs.
Lifestyle Medicine Primary Care
Build healthier habits with personalized support designed to fit your life.
Lifestyle Medicine Primary Care is an optional membership program that builds on traditional primary care with additional guidance, education and support. Your care team helps you create sustainable routines around nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress management and social connection to support your health over time.

How they work together
Integrative Medicine and Lifestyle Medicine Primary Care share a common goal: helping you improve your health by looking beyond symptoms alone.
Each discipline brings something valuable to the Institute.
Lifestyle Medicine Primary Care
Provides a structured, evidence-based pathway for preventing, treating and reversing chronic conditions through lifestyle change.
Integrative Medicine
Broadens your care with additional therapies and services tailored to your individual needs.
Together, they form the scientific and compassionate heart of our Institute — guiding how we deliver care, design research, develop education and engage communities.
A roadmap for lasting vitality
Rooted in evidence and powered by compassion, we inspire people to make lifestyle changes by using these six essential pillars of whole-person health.
Food and nutrition
Healing begins with what’s on your plate. From teaching kitchen classes and culinary medicine visits to personalized nutrition consults and fresh food prescriptions from Desert Mission and the HonorHealth Research Institute, our food and nutrition programs help prevent and reverse chronic conditions for lasting health.
Exercise and movement
Movement is powerful medicine. From VO₂ max testing and personalized fitness evaluations to HonorHealth Medical Fitness, cardiac rehab and specialized performance programs, we help everyone — from weekend warriors to athletes — move with strength and purpose.
Resilience and mind-body health
True healing goes beyond the physical. Through mindfulness, yoga, integrative therapies, behavioral health support and workshops on meaning and purpose, we help you find your balance and resilience.
Sleep and restoration
Sleep is the foundation of health. In collaboration with the HonorHealth Bob Bové Neuroscience Institute and behavioral health, we offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), diagnostic sleep studies and circadian health and recovery workshops — to restore your balance, sleep patterns and vitality.
Social connection and community
Longevity thrives on connection. We bring people together through support groups, wellness events, Blue Zones Project Scottsdale, partnerships in schools, workplaces and across our community. Our programs foster belonging and support.
Purpose, meaning and fulfillment
Health flourishes when life feels meaningful. Through workshops, retreats and group programs that blend lifestyle and personal growth, we help you discover what matters most. In collaboration with our behavioral and spiritual care teams — and inspired by the Blue Zones’ Power 9 — these programs support living longer, more meaningful lives.
