Patients in Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Florence and surrounding communities now have more opportunities to access primary care close to where they live.
HonorHealth has opened three primary care practices in the area this year, including its newest location on the HonorHealth Florence Medical Center campus. Together, the Queen Creek, San Tan and Florence practices are expected to have nine providers caring for patients by the end of the year, increasing appointment availability in these rapidly growing communities.
This growth means more opportunities for patients to establish an ongoing relationship with a trusted provider who can help them stay well and address health concerns before they become more serious.
“As these communities continue to grow, we want patients to have convenient access to a trusted primary care provider close to home — someone who knows them, understands their health history and can partner with them to stay healthy over the long term,” said Jared Berkowitz, MD, chief medical officer for HonorHealth Primary Care. “Having primary care nearby also provides a clear path to HonorHealth’s broader network of specialists, services and hospital care when a patient’s needs extend beyond the primary care office.”
The three practices offer a wide range of primary care services, including annual physicals, health screenings and immunizations, as well as care for chronic conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Virtual appointments are also available, offering patients added convenience and flexibility in how they receive care.
