HonorHealth Medical Group's Jomax practice is made up of board-certified internists who specialize in complete family care for patients 18 years old and up.
Jomax is an internal medicine academic residency clinic known for the way its doctors take pride in bringing the most up-to-date knowledge to their patients. Academic medicine is where the best medical education, research and advanced care come together to better serve the patient.
When you see an internal medicine resident for your appointment at Jomax, you'll benefit not only from his or her expertise, but also that of the attending internal medicine doctor. You'll also enjoy a much longer appointment — as much as an hour — than you may be used to.
The residency program here consists internal medicine resident physicians. They work closely with experienced HonorHealth faculty physicians who also are faculty members at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Phoenix.
In addition to treating you for your symptoms, internal medicine physicians look for the root cause of your illness or medical condition. They're known for listening to and respecting you, taking the time to explain your illness or medical condition and coaching you on healthy behaviors.
