HonorHealth’s sixth hospital to open in fall 2020

Filled with natural light and framed by mountain views, Sonoran Crossing Medical Center will open in fall 2020 at Interstate 17 and Dove Valley Road in north Phoenix.

Sonoran Crossing Medical Center will be the centerpiece of a healthcare campus that will seamlessly integrate care in an extraordinarily healing environment. 

Featuring three stories, 210,000 square feet and 70 beds, it will serve residents of Anthem, New River, Cave Creek, Peoria, Glendale, Phoenix and many others along I-17.

 

 

Facts and figures about the new inpatient hospital:

  • 70 beds with the ability to expand in the future as the needs for services increase.
  • Three stories filled with natural light and colors reflective of the surrounding desert.
  • 24-hour emergency care: For patients of all ages and staffed by residency-trained, board-certified emergency physicians using state-of-the-art technology and treatments.
  • Comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological care including prenatal and postpartum care, labor and deliver services, and care for low-risk babies with future plans to expand services for premature infants.
  • Surgical services: State-of-the-art technology, compassion and clinical expertise in joint replacement and minimally invasive orthopedic, spine, gynecologic, and general surgery procedures, treatments and therapies.
