HonorHealth’s Volunteer Services Scholarships

Status: Scholarships are now open.

HonorHealth’s Volunteer Services recognizes students who are pursuing a higher education degree in a healthcare-related field. In 2025, $66,000 was distributed to 13 student volunteers to use as they pursue their education goals.

Current college students can apply for the Mary Johnson and Volunteer Services Advisory Council scholarships. The Mary Johnson Scholarship is awarded to a student in a nursing program at an Arizona college. The Advisory Council Scholarship is awarded to a college student pursuing a degree in the healthcare field. Past winners of a scholarship are not eligible to win in consecutive years.

Current high school seniors can apply for the Golden Anniversary and the Bobbie and George Kraus scholarships, both of which require completing volunteer hours with HonorHealth. All scholarships will be awarded for the fall 2026 term.

The application deadline is noon on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026. To learn more about the scholarship criteria and to apply, please click on the application links below. If you have any questions, please email StudentVolunteers@honorhealth.com.
