HonorHealth offers three comprehensive health plans administered through AmeriBen. Questions related to payment of claims should be directed to AmeriBen. Please login to view your claims and obtain important health plan information at or call 602-231-8855.

Health Equity - Health Savings Account

An HSA is the tax-free way to save for qualified healthcare expenses. You own the account. Balances roll over year after year and grow tax-free. You never lose your contributions to your HSA unlike other health accounts such as a flexible spending account (FSA).

Behavioral Health Benefit

Your behavioral health benefit is administered by Magellan Health Services and is offered to every employee.

Prescription Drug Benefit

Your prescription drug benefit is administered by Envision Rx Options and is included in each health plan.

Medical Help in a Hurry

When you and your covered family members need medical help in a hurry, you can quickly access affordable, convenient options covered under the HonorHealth employee benefit plan in 2016.

Feeling sick? Help can be just a video visit away. HonorHealth Medical Group video visits are available if you're a current HonorHealth Group patient. Scheduling an appointment is easy: just log into My Chart and click on the "Schedule a Video Visit" button. While you can schedule a video visit with an HonorHealth Medical Group provider, the appointment may not be with your own provider. However, all visit notes will be included in your electronic health record for your regular provider to review.

  • $10 for employees and family members covered by the employee health plan.
  • $40 for all other patients.

Teladoc is an online, urgent care service that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and staffed by emergency medicine physicians. Register and set up an appointment. Within a few minutes, you’ll receive a call from a physician who can provide a personalized consultation, diagnosis and treatment plan. Using your smart phone or computer, you can also have a virtual face-to-face consultation. If recommended, a prescription can be sent electronically to an in-network pharmacy.   • Coordinated Care Plan and Standard Plan enrollees pay $25 per use.
  • Health Savings Account Plan enrollees pay $50 per use until the deductible is met. After that, $50 is paid per use, but you are reimbursed 50 percent of your cost.

Immediate Care is a walk-in, no-appointment necessary service at select HonorHealth Medical Group locations. Morning, evening and weekend hours are available. Use Immediate Care for conditions that require immediate medical attention but are not life-threatening. After you are treated, the Immediate Care physicians will consult with your primary care physician about continuing any treatment you may need. You’re under no obligation to visit the Immediate Care locations for ongoing care. Immediate Care is available in Phoenix, Glendale and Anthem.

  • Coordinated Care Plan members pay a $10 co-pay.
  • Standard Plan members pay a $20 co-pay.
  • The Health Savings Account Plan pays 90 percent after the annual deductible is met.

Urgent Care is available when you have a medical problem that's not life-threatening but cannot wait until your primary care provider is available. Information about in-network Urgent Care locations is available in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona provider directory.

  • Coordinated Care and Standard plan members pay a $25 co-pay at Blue Cross Blue Shield Arizona urgent care providers.
  • The Health Saving Account Plan pays 80 percent after the annual deductible is met with HonorHealth locations or Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona urgent care providers.

HonorHealth offers three dental plans through Delta Dental and Employers Dental Services (EDS).

Because we care about your health and our community, HonorHealth provides valuable assistance to commuters. Free bus passes, vanpools and secure bicycle lockers are just a few of the advantages we offer. Paid Time Off (PTO)

All regular and seasonal, full- and part-time employees (exclusive of Temporary, Per Diem and SSP) are eligible to earn PTO based on length of service and regular hours paid. Each pay period, all eligible employees will accrue PTO hours. This accrued time may be used for holidays, vacation, personal business, short-term personal illness and family needs. Accrued PTO hours may be used as the employee elects, subject to departmental staffing requirements and supervisory approval. Please refer to Paid Time Off Policy on the intranet.

PTO Donations

Employees can voluntarily transfer accrued PTO hours to assist another employee who, because of a medical and/or other personal or family emergency, has 20 or less hours of PTO.

Education Assistance

Take your career to the next level through education paid for by HonorHealth through tuition assistance and tuition pre-payment benefit. Tuition assistance is available to eligible staff members up to $5,250 per year. Pre-paid tuition is available to staff enrolled in a healthcare career track.
