Feel Good Mood Management - Psychoeducational Series Session 2
The HonorHealth Behavioral Medicine Department in conjunction with the Integrative Medicine Clinic at Pima Crossing is presenting a series of psychoeducational group meetings focusing on different topics of psychological wellness.
This second series of three and the following mood management sessions will focus on giving participants tools to manage negative moods, so that you can control your emotions instead of your emotions controlling you. Negative moods, such as anxiety, sadness or depression, guilt, anger, lack of motivation or procrastination typically erode one's energy and self-esteem and create interpersonal conflicts or difficulties. Sometimes we suffer in silence; sometimes, others are affected.
During this session, you'll learn a simple proven, evidence-based technique that can be used to manage a variety of negative moods resulting from any number of circumstances or events.
