Chicken and wild rice soup recipe

We collaborated with Denise Coventry, registered dietitian at HonorHealth Integrative Medicine, to bring you this chicken and wild rice soup recipe that is easy to make at home. It’s full of fiber from vegetables, healthy fat and protein.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup mirepoix (or mushrooms and kale)
  • 6 ounces shredded chicken
  • 3/4 cup uncooked wild rice
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon sage

Preparation

  1. Heat all ingredients together in a large pot until simmering.
  2. Serve warm.
