Inside Via Linda Behavioral Hospital
HonorHealth has formed a partnership with Universal Health Services, Inc. to significantly improve access to the full continuum of behavioral health programs and services by building a new, state-of-the-art hospital at 90th Street and Via Linda in Scottsdale. Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is now open with limited initial capacity.
The freestanding facility:
- Consists of 120 beds and more than 73,000 square feet
- Performs behavioral health assessments 24 hours a day
- Serves adolescents, adults and older adults
- Offers programs for co-occurring behavioral health and substance use issues to meet the unique needs of this patient population
- Provides a robust outpatient program utilizing a combination of group, family and individual therapy. Treatment options will include both intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization. Programs will include services for patients dealing with depression, anxiety and bipolar disorders, as well as schizophrenia and other prevalent behavioral health issues.
Generations Behavioral Health Unit
The Generations Behavioral Health Unit at HonorHealth Four Peaks Medical Center provides specialized inpatient care for adults 55 and older experiencing mental health challenges.
With more than 30 years of experience, our team of geriatric psychiatrists, nurses, therapists and counselors partners with patients and families to deliver compassionate, personalized care in a supportive environment. This dedicated 20-bed unit is designed with comfort and healing in mind, offering private rooms with mountain views.
Services include:
- Comprehensive treatment for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, dementia-related behaviors, adjustment disorders, suicidal thoughts, substance use concerns and psychosis
- Individualized care plans with daily psychiatric and medical support
- Group therapy, individual counseling, art and music therapy, and leisure activities
- Structured visitation and regular family updates to keep loved ones connected
- Seamless transition planning, with typical stays of 10 to 14 days
