Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency

Dear Prospective Resident,
Thank you for taking the time to visit our webpage. I am thrilled to share with you what makes HonorHealth Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Residency a unique program that has all of us very excited.

We are the only PM&R residency in all of Arizona. The program started in 2019 and has been graduating residents since 2022. Our program trains in multiple clinical environments that can help you decide which career path is right for you. HonorHealth is nonprofit health care system that allows it’s PM&R Residents to not only rotate at HonorHealth but at the Phoenix VA, Barrow Neurologic Institute, Mayo Clinic, Phoenix Children Hospital, and a multitude of private practices. This variety helps ensure that when graduating our PM&R residency, residents are well rounded and equipped to either enter the work force or pursue a fellowship.

Please note the program is four continuous years of training with the 1st year being spent in the HonorHealth Internal Medicine Residency Program; there is no need to apply to a separate preliminary program.

Since we take four residents per each class, there is an opportunity for personalized education and frequent one-on-one faculty interaction. Our top priorities are your education, physician well-being, patient safety and quality, and diversity, equity, and inclusion.

We are eager to meet you and share with you our love for Arizona. Whether you love the outdoors, hiking, are a sports fan or a foodie, Arizona has something for everyone!

Sincerely,

PM&R Residency Leadership

April Pruski - PM&R Residency
