Your urgent care experience is about to get even better! Earlier this summer, HonorHealth announced that it was acquiring all of FastMed’s urgent care locations in Arizona. Through this acquisition, HonorHealth will be the sole owner and operator of these urgent cares in the next few months.

HonorHealth’s focus on high-quality, convenient care will extend to these urgent care locations.

 

FAQs

Q: What is happening?

A: HonorHealth has acquired all FastMed Urgent Care clinics throughout the Valley. Through this acquisition, HonorHealth will be the sole owner and operator of these urgent cares. Each of these locations will transition to HonorHealth in the next few months.

Q: Why is this happening?

A: This acquisition enables all our HonorHealth Urgent Care locations to operate under the HonorHealth network umbrella, helping us continue to provide a seamless experience for our patients and community, and increasing access to high-quality, convenient care that is close to home.

Q: Are the providers and other team members the same?

A: To continue providing high-quality and personalized care, HonorHealth will try to retain all physicians, advanced practice providers, field management, occupational health and other team members as part of the transition.

Q: Will the signs at each of these locations change?

A: Once the transition is complete, the name and signage for the urgent care clinics will change from HonorHealth | FastMed Urgent Care to HonorHealth Urgent Care.

Q: Will the impacted locations remain open during the transition?

A: Yes, these locations will remain open during the transition. Some locations may close permanently or transition to other specialty or primary care offices.

Q: Are your services changing?

A: No. We will offer the same urgent care services as before.

Q: Can you send my primary care physician information about my visits?

A: Yes, please provide the care team the name and contact of your primary care physician, so they can send your visit information. You can also access your medical records and information via MyChart, a free, easy-to-use, secure website that gives you access to your health information.

Q: Can I still check-in online?

A: Yes. Save a Spot allows you to check estimated wait times and hold your spot in line at all HonorHealth Urgent Care locations. Please note: It is not a scheduled appointment.

Q: How can I know my estimated wait time?

A: Each HonorHealth Urgent Care location page features Save a Spot, which will show you the estimated wait time for that specific location.

Q: Can I just walk in?

A: Yes, walk-ins are welcome. Please note: We prioritize patients by the severity of their illness or injury to ensure the most urgent cases are seen first, regardless of when they arrive.
